Romaero has been in the aircraft industry for 80 years; the trigger of company’s development was the complete production of the two benchmark models of aircrafts: the Islander and BAC 1-11 models.
After the 2nd World War, Romaero performed maintenance for the soviet planes and in the same time manufactured spare parts for “Industria Aeronautica Romana “ (I.A.R) products portfolio.
In the early 90’s , the company underwent a major restructuring process, redirecting its production towards plane spare parts for Western Euro-pean and American customers and performing specific maintenance and repairing activities.
